Peer Mediation Excellence #6

On Friday I had Peer Mediation with Anneke there were no problems again which is still good. Firstly we walked around the field and senior playground once again to make sure no one had a problem.

Next we went onto the courts and went though the junior area were little kids would normally come to you and say they have a problem but it isn't a big deal but they think it is so we solve it by they didn't which was good.

Then we when around the classrooms to see what people were doing and make sure they where in the right place. After that we walked around the courts to take up time and to make sure there weren't any problems.

I showed community by walking around the whole school to make sure there weren't any problems.

I was being trustworthy by showing up for my duty and not just leaving it for someone else to do.

Librarian Excellence #6

On Thursday I had Librarian with Charlie, when we got there we started off by going and getting the books off the trolley and placing them were the are meant to go.
Next we returned some books that people wanted to bring back. After that we went and put the books back on the shelves that we had returned. Then we issued books out that people wanted by Charlie typed there name in the computer so you can issue the book out under there name,
I was on scanning and all I had to do was scan the bar code on the book to say which one it was. Then it was time to close the library so we went around telling everyone that it was time to leave. Before we left we tidy up the space.

I showed respect by not shouting at everyone when the library was closing.

I was also being motivational by telling people lots of books that are good to read.

Technology Excellence #1

On Tuesday all of the year 7/8's go to Lincoln to do technology. When we go there I'm in design and what we did was fill out a planning sheet so we know what we are going to make.
I'm making a cushion, I want it to be 30cm by 30cm and it to have small white stars with a black back ground.
Next we got to make a prototype I went with Anneke because we were both making a cushion so we got a fabric out of a box and cut it to the right size then we started sowing. Then stuffed it finally we hand sowed the gap.

I showed respect by not talking while the teacher was talking and on the bus by not shouting across it.

I also was being motivational  to people by helping them hand sow something.

Then we when around the classrooms to see what people were doing and make sure they where in the right place.
After that we walked around the courts to take up time and to make sure there weren't any problems.

I showed respect by not walking through peoples games so that I don't interrupt them.

I also was being trustworthy by showing up to duty and not just letting Anneke do all of the work.

Librarian Excellence #5

On Thursday I had librarian with Charlie when we got there we walked to the trolley and started putting books back on the shelves.
Secondly we sat at the desk to return the books.
Next we placed the books we just returned on the shelves.
After that we waited to see if anybody wanted to issue books and when someone came Charlie was on the computer and I was scanning what I had to do was type that name in and when it came up I scanned the barcode on the book so it showed up as they have the book out.
Then it was time to close the library.

I showed community by helping people find books and issuing them out for them.

I was also being self aware by showing up to my duty on time.
